The Torq Mod Fun Volume Plus (V+) 7’8” is a high-volume mid-length designed for effortless wave catching, smooth progression, and everyday versatility in typical UK surf.
With 64 litres of volume packed into a refined outline, this board offers excellent paddling power and stability while remaining noticeably more manoeuvrable than a traditional mini mal. It’s ideal for progressing surfers stepping down in size, as well as heavier riders looking for a board that delivers both float and control.
The fuller rails and generous mid-section provide forgiveness and easy wave entry, while the slightly pulled-in tail allows for smoother turns and better hold when the surf picks up. This balance makes it equally at home in small, weaker waves or more powerful conditions up to head high.
Built using Torq’s advanced Epoxy construction, the board features an EPS core, biaxial fibreglass cloth, epoxy resin and Shield Skin. The result is a lightweight yet durable board that’s easy to handle, resistant to knocks, and built for consistent performance.
