The Torq Delpero Mid Pro White 7'6 is the most compact and performance-focused version of the Delpero Mid Pro range. Inspired by the same design concepts behind Edouard Delpero’s World Championship-winning boards, this shape blends classic longboard flow with a far more responsive and agile feel.
The fuller forward outline maintains impressive paddle power and glide for a board this size, helping generate speed easily and making wave entry smooth and forgiving. The increased width through the nose area also improves trim stability and allows for stylish high-line surfing and shorter noserides.
What really separates the 7'6 from larger boards in the range is how lively and manoeuvrable it feels once on rail. The narrower pulled-in tail, foiled rails and performance rocker combine with a double concave to vee bottom shape, allowing fast rail transitions and sharp carving turns.
The result is a board that offers the speed and flow of a longboard-inspired shape but in a much more compact package that feels responsive and playful underfoot.
What We Love
- Super fun crossover between mid-length and longboard.
- Paddles and catches waves far better than most 7'6 boards.
- Still feels fast and responsive through turns.
- Great blend of glide, trim and manoeuvrability.
- Perfect for stylish surfing in everyday waves.
Expert Advice
The 7'6 is probably the most versatile board in the Mid Pro lineup for surfers wanting performance without sacrificing wave count. It feels much more manoeuvrable than a traditional mini-mal or funboard while still giving loads of easy speed and flow.
If you’re moving down from a longboard or want something easier and more stylish than a high-performance shortboard in average UK surf, this is a brilliant option.
