Time of Update: Monday, 23 March 2020 - 05:35:59pm
Todays Conditions: In the interest of trying to encourage the limit of movement of people, we will no longer be providing daily surf updates/forecasts. Obviously the camera will continue to run so you can mind surf any little ripples we have or just get a bit of escapism dreaming of the summer when this is all passed. Thanks again for everyone's support and don't forget to follow us on Facebook/Instagram for generally good vibes through this storm. Our Store is shut but Online continues to run as normal will all orders being dispatched same day.

By public transport - The nearest train station is Chichester from there get on the number 52/53 bus next to the train station and get off in East Wittering village.
Downstairs, we have a fantastic range of the latest surf fashion and accessories stocking all the major surf brands including Quiksilver, Roxy, Billabong, Oneill, Ripcurl, Oakley, Animal, Nixon, Protest, Element, Volcom, Reef, Vans, Hurley and Rusty - to name but a few!
Wetsuits & Hardware
Upstairs, we have a massive range of wetsuits including Billabong, Ripcurl, C-Skins and not forgetting O'Neill, of which we have a dedicated showroom - the largest in europe! We also have a huge range of Surfboards, Bodyboards and Kayaks from the best brands including, Ocean Kayak, Bic, NMD, JS Surfboards and Perception Kayaks.
Sometimes as with all technology our webcam does fall over. This can be for a variety of reasons and we do our best to keep issues to a minimum. The camera should work across all modern browsers and most mobile devices, if you do notice a problem this is likely down to a technical fault at our end. The best bet is to drop a comment on our Facebook wall and we will get on it as soon as possible. The camera is located on top of the chimney pot on a house adjacent to the beach and therefore access is difficult and sometimes dangerous in bad weather, however we will do our best to get it back up and running as soon as possible. Thanks for your understanding and enjoy the camera.
Not Seeing any Surf?
Firstly this is East Wittering, it’s often flat. However, throughout the winter months when we have some big storms the camera inevitably gets caked in salt, making it pretty difficult to see anything. We try to clean the camera as much as possible but if you notice it is particularly dirty please do write on our Facebook wall and we will get to it ASAP. We have been providing a surf camera at East Wittering beach for over 10 years completely free of charge and with no advertising or membership requirement so if we can't clean it straight away please be understanding, its a very slippery roof!
