Top 3 Reasons We Love This
1. 60 litres is a brilliant size for a full watersports setup — plenty of room for a winter wetsuit, boots, gloves, hood, towel and changing gear without having to carefully pack everything
2. Keep your dry kit protected on the way out, then chuck all your soaking wet and sandy gear straight back inside afterwards — exactly what you want from a proper watersports dry bag
3. The removable straps make it surprisingly versatile — carry it over one shoulder or set them up as basic backpack straps when you need your hands free, with a dedicated Session Backpack available if backpack comfort is your priority

Product Description
The C-Skins Session 60L Dry Bag is a big, tough and genuinely useful waterproof kit bag for anyone regularly spending time around the water. At 60 litres there's enough room for a complete wetsuit setup, towel and changing gear, making it ideal for surfing, swimming, sailing, paddleboarding, kayaking and general beach use.

The waterproof construction and welded seams work both ways. On the way to the water, use it to protect clothes, towels and other equipment from rain, spray and wet ground. Once you've finished your session, throw your soaking wetsuit and accessories straight inside and the same construction helps contain all that water, sand and mess on the journey home.

The roll-top design gives you a large opening, which is exactly what you want when you're trying to get a bulky wet wetsuit into the bag. There's no small zip or complicated opening — chuck everything in, roll the top down and you're ready to go.

The Session also has an elasticated external stash pocket for those smaller bits you want to keep within easy reach rather than losing them at the bottom of a 60L bag.

Removable webbing straps give you a few different ways to carry it. Set them up as a shoulder strap, use both as simple backpack straps or remove them entirely when they're not needed. There's also a grab handle at the top for quickly moving the bag around.

It's worth pointing out that C-Skins also make a dedicated Session Dry Bag Backpack. If you're regularly walking any real distance with a fully loaded bag, that's the version we'd choose because its proper padded, adjustable backpack harness is considerably more comfortable. This standard Session can still be worn on your back, but the simpler webbing straps are better suited to shorter carries and occasional backpack use.

Session Dry Bag or Session Backpack?
The important thing to know is that both versions can be carried on your back — the difference is really how often and how far you're planning to carry them.

This standard Session Dry Bag uses removable webbing straps. They're versatile, simple and allow you to carry the bag over your shoulder or configure the straps for backpack-style carry. That's absolutely fine for getting from the car to the beach, moving around a sailing club or whenever you just need both hands free for a few minutes.

The dedicated C-Skins Session Dry Bag Backpack takes things a step further with proper padded, fully adjustable airflow shoulder straps. If you're walking longer distances, regularly loading the bag heavily or specifically want a dry bag that behaves like a normal backpack, we'd spend the extra on that version.

If most of the time you're chucking the bag into the car or van and only carrying it relatively short distances, this standard Session is the simpler option and does the job brilliantly.

Why Choose The 60L?
For a full watersports setup, we think 60 litres is pretty much the sweet spot. It's big enough that you don't need to carefully pack everything but still manageable enough for regular use.

A winter wetsuit takes up a surprising amount of room once it's wet. Add boots, gloves, hood, towel and changing clothes and smaller dry bags fill up very quickly. The 60L gives you enough space to chuck the lot inside without spending five minutes trying to perfectly fold a freezing wet wetsuit.

For summer sessions you've then got loads of extra space for towels, clothes, food and all the other stuff that inevitably comes down to the beach.

Dry Kit In, Wet Kit Home
This is where a bag like the Session really makes sense.

Before your session, load it with your dry clothes, towel and other essentials and you've got waterproof protection from rain, spray and wet ground.

Afterwards, everything reverses. Wetsuit, boots, gloves and whatever else is soaking wet can go straight inside, helping contain the water and mess until you get home.

It's considerably better than the traditional supermarket bag full of wet neoprene slowly leaking into the boot of your car.

Expert Advice
For us, choosing between this and the dedicated Session Backpack really comes down to how you're going to carry it rather than what you're putting inside it.

If you're driving to the beach, carrying the bag a short distance and then throwing it back into the car afterwards, we'd be perfectly happy with this version. The webbing straps are simple, removable and give you enough flexibility to stick the bag on your back when you need both hands free.

If you've got a decent walk to your surf spot, regularly carry heavy wet gear or want to use it as a proper backpack for travelling, we'd go for the Session Backpack with its padded shoulder harness. Sixty litres of soaking wetsuit and towels can get pretty heavy, and that's where proper straps start to earn their money.

Either way, 60L is a great size for surfing and watersports. There's loads of room for winter kit, the roll top is simple to use with cold hands and the wipe-clean waterproof construction means you can chuck it down on a wet beach or changing-room floor without worrying about it.

Q & A

Q: Is this the C-Skins Session Backpack?
A: No. This is the standard Session Dry Bag with removable webbing straps. C-Skins also make a dedicated Session Backpack with proper padded and adjustable backpack shoulder straps.

Q: Can I still wear this version as a backpack?
A: Yes. The removable webbing straps can be configured for basic backpack-style carry. They're great when you need your hands free, but aren't as comfortable as the padded harness on the dedicated Session Backpack.

Q: Which version should I buy?
A: If you're mainly carrying your bag short distances between the car, beach or boat, we'd happily choose this one. If you're regularly walking longer distances with a fully loaded 60L bag, we'd choose the dedicated Session Backpack.

Q: Is 60L big enough for a winter wetsuit?
A: Yes. It's a great size for a thick winter wetsuit plus boots, gloves, hood, towel and changing essentials.

Q: Is the Session Dry Bag waterproof?
A: Yes. C-Skins describe it as waterproof and completely submersible when correctly closed, with welded waterproof seams.

Q: Can I put my soaking wetsuit straight inside?
A: Absolutely. That's one of its best uses. The waterproof construction helps keep water out when protecting dry gear and helps contain wet gear after your session.

Q: Can I remove the straps?
A: Yes. The webbing straps are removable, so you can take them off completely when they're not required.

Q: Does it have any external storage?
A: Yes. There's an elasticated stash pocket for smaller items you want to keep easier to reach.

Q: Is it good for surfing?
A: Brilliant. The 60L capacity gives you loads of room for a complete wetsuit setup, towel and changing gear.

Q: Is it good for open-water swimming?
A: Yes. Keep your clothes and towel protected before swimming, then use the same bag to carry your wet kit afterwards.

Q: Can I use it for sailing?
A: Definitely. The waterproof construction and large capacity make it a great option for dinghy sailing, boat trips and general watersports.

Q: Why do some colours have a brighter interior?
A: The brighter materials allow more light into the bag, which can make it easier to spot smaller pieces of kit at the bottom of a deep 60L bag.

Q: Is it easy to clean?
A: Yes. The tough outer material is designed to be wipe clean, making it ideal for sand, mud, salt water and general watersports use.

Q: Is it only for watersports?
A: No. It's also a really useful waterproof gear bag for camping, boating, beach trips, festivals and general outdoor adventures.
