The JS Black Baron HyFi 3 Surfboard in 5’8” is a compact, fast and playful take on one of the most loved twin fins in the JS range. Originally designed with Parko to rediscover pure speed and enjoyment, the Black Baron is all about flowing lines, instant acceleration and maximum fun in the waves we surf most.

This shorter size keeps the board lively and responsive while still offering excellent glide and paddle power. The fuller nose outline and hidden foam under the chest help you get into waves early, while the low to flat rocker creates instant speed and holds it through flatter sections. A subtle flyer allows the board to maintain width through the middle, flowing into a pulled-in swallow tail that adds control without dulling the classic twin-fin feel.

Fin placement has been refined to balance the free, fast feeling of a traditional twin with added drive and stability at higher speeds. The flat deck hides volume in all the right places, while the low, slight down rail and reverse vee encourage smooth rail-to-rail transitions, keeping the board loose, fast and controllable when pushed.
