The knee cuff design is the key feature here. By positioning the leash below the knee instead of around the ankle, it allows you to move freely around the board while cross-stepping and noseriding, without the leash constantly wrapping around your feet.

This makes a massive difference during traditional longboarding, especially when walking to the nose or moving fluidly around the board.
