Confused about your next board? We're here to help. All we need from you are some extra details about yourself and the board you're interested in, along with what kind of surf you intend to use it in, and then one of our specialists will get back to you!

    Expereince Level?

-Newbie, is really someone who has maybe had one lesson and is just enjoying being out in the water

-Can Stand Up, is hopefully pretty self-explanatory you should be able to most of the time stand up on a broken wave and ride this to the beach.

-Improver, is if you are making it to start catching green unbroken waves. Perhaps starting to ride along them a little bit but most of the time you are riding them to the beach. You have been out and feel comfortable in waist-high waves but nothing bigger.

-Intermediate, you should be surfing along an unbroken wave. Probably starting to duck dive or roll your board and should be comfortable out in conditions where the waves are up to chest high.

-Advanced, is someone who is comfortable in the majority of conditions, can duck dive/make it out the back and is starting to pump and push into turns.

-Advanced+, well you hopefully know what you are looking for at this level but we are still here to help

Why do you need to know where I want to surf?

Different waves suit different boards and especially when learning the size and volume of the board will be determined by the type of break. A great example is North Devon. Surfing Putsborough or Saunton is a very different wave to Croyde and therefore how much volume and length you will need for each spot does make a big difference when progressing

I don't know much about my current board?

Any information you can give us on brand/length/volume would be perfect to ensure we don't suggest something too similar to what you already have

Extra Information what do you want to know?

The team here at Shore know a lot about surfboards probably an unhealthy amount and we just want to make sure you get the right board. So please let us know anything you are considering even if we don't stock it if its the right board for you we will tell you.
