The Hyperfreak Hooded 5/4+ is designed for the coldest winter sessions, bringing all the same buttery feel and insane flexibility of the core Hyperfreak range but with the added warmth of a built-in hood. O'Neill combine their exclusive Technobutter 3 neoprene in the body with even stretchier TB3X in the shoulders and arms, giving you incredible paddle freedom without sacrificing warmth. The F.U.Z.E (Front Upper Zip Entry) system with three draining holes ensures minimal flushing, while clean graphics and lightweight seams keep the suit feeling light and natural in the water.

The hooded Hyperfreak+ is built for water temperatures around 6–10°C, perfect for UK winters and early spring sessions when you’d otherwise be tempted to stay on the beach. Thanks to O'Neill’s heavy R&D investment, the 5/4+ actually comes in at closer to 5.5/4.5mm, which means more warmth without compromising on flexibility. The integrated hood with a double seal face is a game-changer for cutting wind-chill and keeping you in the line-up longer. Technobutter 3 and TB3X neoprene remain some of the stretchiest, lightest materials you’ll find in any wetsuit, offering 20% less weight and absorbing 30% less water than standard neoprene.
