What We Say About This Board

"What we are calling the board of the year already. The Lost x Lib Tech Puddle Jumper is the hottest board on the market at the moment. They are incredibly rare and for good reason. Produced on a small scale by hand in Canada has lead to Lib Tech under estimating the demand for this technology that they are struggling to meet. The Lib Tech construction are probably the strongest/toughest and most environmentally friendly boards on the market meaning we can't keep them in stock. This board is ridden by 2 of the Shore Staff and they Love them and is 100% Shore Recommended.

Board Description

The Puddle Jumper is a con-caved, planing surfacer speeder. Domestic bliss with a twist. Based off the outline of the Bottom Feeder, but with reversed bottom and rocker curves. This board, unlike the past Domestic models (like The Bottom Feeder and RV) features a concave bottom that transitions to vee in the tail. The wide outline makes for easy wave catching and down the line glide and stability. The concave bottom adds lift and increased rail curve, which allows radical top to bottom surfing. The straight rail line and vee in the tail keep the board moving forward and hold in during hard carving maneuvers. “This is the most excited I have ever been about a small wave surfboard. Personally, it's the best small wave board I have ever ridden. I have never made a claim like that about any board before” - Matt Biolos.

Board Technology

Lib Tech are known for there development in the snow game have put there minds to creating what they think is the ultimate environmentally friendly construction technique for Surfboard manufacture on the planet. Based out of there secret laboratory in Canada the Guys at Lib Tech have developed a technology and foam called EcoIsoTropic. There is very little information on how these are produced but from what we can understand its about heat compression and layering. All we know is they are hard wearing are 100% water resistant inside and the flex and weight feels about right. Checkout what Lib Tech have to say here " We will change everything you know about surfboards. Each of the 31 pieces used to construct our surfboards are new materials to the surf industry. 30 years of experience crafting and riding high performance environmentally friendly composite surf, skate and snowboards went into designing our unique Waterboard process, materials and shapes. Each fused homogenous surf structure is handcrafted in the USA with a focus on performance and environmentally friendly manufacturing and materials. Only stainless steel fin screws remain the same. Waterboarding is now fun and healthy."
