The Dagger Stratos 12.5 S is a high performance tourer, playful and sporty in the surf and equally comfortable gliding along on a lake. Smooth and forgiving for the new paddler to learn, the Stratos 12.5 S has been developed for stability and predictability even in rough or moving water. Perfect for day touring, and paddlers who enjoy exploring smaller waterways and in-shore areas. The 12.5 is nimble and faster than 10-11ft touring kayaks, and copes extremely well with ocean swell and small surf. In keeping with the 14.5, the flared bow rocker cuts nicely through waves and the flattened hull area directly beneath the seat position offers a nice stable ride, especially when catching waves and swell from the stern. Forgiving and easy to roll (relative to the paddlers ability), the Stratos 12.5 has the unique ability that it can easily be paddled by beginners, but experts also love how it paddles and it’s very well thought out design and features.

Outfitted with Contour Lite seating and a SlideLock footbrace. Stratos 12.5 S – as the same boat length as the 12.5 L, but this model features a lower deck height and is more suited for smaller to medium-sized paddlers or paddlers with a shorter torso but still with great capacity.

Spraydeck Size - R5. With plenty of adjustment in the outfitting, the kayaks seat leg-lifter, footrest, thighbraces and backrest can be altered to provide the paddler with a comfortable, snug fit. The 12.5 also comes with drop-down skeg for windy days, 2x watertight hatches and contoured hip pads as standard.
